Brother From Another Mother

This is Trevor Clinton Mercord...Jacob's brother from another mother. Trevor is the sixth member of our family, our fourth son. How do we know that Trevor belongs at our home? Let me share the ways he is sooo much like the other three...

Pep Fest

If two words in the whole world could describe my son Jacob it would be "Pep Band". He lives and breathes pep band. Last year he was voted "Greatest Pep Bander Ever"! Last Friday night was his last pep band performance of his senior year and at Prescott High School...bittersweet for all of us.

We love to watch Jacob play during pep band and garage band performances. He is always so full of enthusiasm and excitement...he is normally not this way. If only I knew how to upload an actual video of him playing...hmmm...maybe next time.

The Stomach Flu

Last night Andrew woke up with the stomach flu. The one illness that we dread to see surface at any time of the year. His little body spent the night hugging the toilet bowl. At least he can make it to the toilet bowl...(the one in our family who cannot make it to the toilet bowl will remain nameless but just turned 18!!)

Today he has lounged around the house watching movies, taking bubble baths and playing XBox...what a life...but would have to pause said time passers to run to the bathroom. He's such a trooper and never complained; not once!
